The main objective of the Arena PvP system is to give players a highly competitive environment that is not based on an enormous investment of time, but rather game playing skills. Because the Arena system is intended to be the ultimate challenge PvP, the levels required to participate in an Arena Team is the level 70. Like battlegrounds, Arenas are instances where players fight each other. There are currently three arenas. The Ring of Trials can be found in Nagrand, while the circle of blood is in the Blade's Edge Mountains. Ruins of Lordaeron has no entrance that can be accessed outside the Arena system. Each Arena has a different design and some unique twists that force different strategies for each Arena.

Season 3:

The rating (no points), needed to buy weapons Season 3 will be 1850.
The score needed to buy Season 3 shoulders will be 2000.
The rating is only needed to purchase the items, but not to wear the items.

Personal Rating System in Arena Season 3:

For calculations of rank in the offseason, personal and team ratings will both be used.  A personal rating has to be within 100 of the team personal rating.

Fields of Battle:

There are more undisclosed changes coming to the AV 2.3 patch.
All battlefields will have a "free" buff period before the start of the battle and briefly after being resurrected by the Spirit Guide, like the Arena.

Daily Missions:
